Dave used pass-down information from fire officers all over America and Canada then balanced these with technical back-up and critique comments from the most experienced fire officers in the industry.

The “Reading Smoke” curriculum was originally presented as part of the Incident Safety Officer’s Academy developed by Dodson.

Over the past decade, the demand to include this training in first-due decision making has become quite popular.

Now, a training DVD is available to assist you in learning how to “Read Smoke.” Also, we’ve included several articles and free downloads to help you spread the message of the ART.
