2024 SAFRE Call for Presenters

The NCSFA and 2024 SAFRE Committee are pleased to begin taking submissions for the 2024 South Atlantic FIRE RESCUE Expo held in Raleigh, NC Aug. 7-10, 2024. To be considered, all submissions must be made through this online form. The deadline for submissions is Friday, November 17, 2023.

- Pre-Conference Training - Classroom Environment. Wednesday, August 7, 2024.
- Workshop - Classroom Environment. Friday, August 9 and/or Saturday, August 10, 2024.

Go into more detail about your topic in this section. Explain your presentation methods, participant takeaways, why this topic is important to the fire service today, etc. This information is what the selection committee will use when evaluating each submission. Please keep this information concise, to the point and engaging.

The NCSFA/SAFRE will provide a hotel room for the night before your morning class if you must travel more than two hours from Raleigh, NC.
The NCSFA/SAFRE will provide a hotel room for the night after your afternoon class if you must travel more than two hours from Raleigh, NC.
We will provide double occupancy for sessions requiring two instructors with a maximum of one room provided.

Hotel accommodations are provided for presenters who must travel more than 2 hours to get to the event venue. For morning presentations, one night's accommodations the night before will be provided. For afternoon presentations, one night's accommodations for the night of the presentation will be provided. If more than one presenter is listed on the presentation, double room accommodations will be provided to share.
Laptops*
Presenters are responsible for supplying their own laptops for their presentations. Each room will be provided with a screen and projector to which you can connect your laptop, plus a microphone connected to house sound. *If you will be connecting an Apple (rather than a PC) to the provided projector, please let us know so we can make sure the proper cables are provided.
