Banquet Changes:
- To make our long-standing traditions more accessible, we will no longer host a separate annual banquet. Instead, the installation of officers, recognition of scholarship recipients, and presentation of our prestigious annual awards (Firefighter of the Year, Valor and the new Timothy Lynn Bradley Hall of Fame Award) will all take place during the SAFRE Opening Ceremonies on Thursday, August 13. This change allows more of our membership and SAFRE attendees to be part of these important moments.
Hotel Information:
- To accommodate the continued SAFRE growth, we have added an additional hotel for SAFRE attendees. You will now have the opportunity to reserve rooms at a special SAFRE rate at the Homewood Suites/Tempo by Hilton in Downtown Raleigh. To reserve at the SAFRE rate or to see availability at any of the 4 SAFRE hotels, visit the ‘Accommodations’ menu tab on the navigation bar above.
